WHERE SHOULD I DRILL?

When picking a location to drill there are many factors to consider including access to services such as electricity and exisitng water infrastructure, location of powerpoles/septic/underground mains and proximity to other bores. It's also important to note that the site most convenient may not yield water, or may not yield quality water fit for purpose. It is also important to consider other things such as if the area is prone to flooding and if there are any other potential contamination sources.

When selecting a site to drill on, access for the drill rig and saftey of our staff is imperitive. We understand that convenience to access existing infrastructure and location to dwellings and paddocks is important, however, if the drill rig cannot safely get to this location we may need to consider other viable options or alternate access.

IS THERE ANY ASSISTANCE TO DRILL A BORE IN QUEENSLAND?

The Queensland Government has programs and funding available to assist with water infrastructure. More information on these programs can be found here.
